He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6

Of all the events in my life and of all the people that I have come to know and love, nothing or no one has ever made the kind of impact that Jesus Christ has made in my life. I have never known such joy, peace, hope, truth, grace, patience, forgiveness and love. He has forever changed my life! The “Passion Guitar” was built to honor Him and to share with you the “Good News” of salvation. I was inspired to build this guitar after seeing the “Passion of the Christ” movie by Mel Gibson. I would encourage all of you to see it!

History tells us that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified 2000 years ago. No historian denies that He was a real man or that he was put to death on a cross. The Bible tells us that His crucifixion however was not just another Roman execution but was the working of God’s mighty power to save rebellious sinners from certain destruction. It was God’s plan and will to crush Him (Jesus) and cause Him to suffer (Isaiah 53:10).

It’s my desire in sharing this with you that you will better understand who Jesus of Nazareth was, what he accomplished while on earth and why he had to die on a cross. My prayer is that you would believe that His one sacrifice is all that is necessary to have eternal life, forgiveness and a loving relationship with God your creator.
